My name is Nick Turnbull and I founded Larchmont at Home with the sole purpose of both the domestic and commercial sectors with high quality painting and decorating services.

I wanted to run a business which reflects my ethos of treating every job as if the work is carried out on my own home. With more than 20 years’ of experience as a painter and decorator, I have and will continue to provide my customers with a stress-free experience, ensuring continuous communication with you from start to finish.

I have lived on the Wirral all of my life, having attended school and college locally. I trained as a painter with my Dad who owned his own business. I attended Wirral Met. College on the Wirral and from there went on to study at Liverpool John Moores University, successfully completing a business degree.

From there I continued to work in the painting industry and, during this time, built up a significant amount of knowledge on paints, materials and how best to best use them. I continue to build upon my knowledge as a painter and decorator by regularly attending training events both locally and nationally to ensure I offer the best possible service and advice to all of my customers.

I carry out Risk Assessments and establish safe working methods on every project undertaken. The business has its own Health and Safety Policy too. I have the IOSH Managing Safety qualification and attend/update my Asbestos Awareness Training Course every 12 months, along with Basic First Aid Training.
